A message from the Golf Committee

Dear members,

It is with sadness that we have to announce the passing of Mr Brian Tunley.

Brian was a founder member of Cottingham Parks Golf Club, and became Club Captain in the year 2000. He donated the Millenium Day Trophy to the club and was the driving force behind the organising and running of the club’s first ever Pro-Am.

A successful local businessman, Brian was forthright and straight to the point but also very generous with his time and finances, arranging and sponsoring golf trips away.

For anyone wishing to attend Brian’s funeral, the service will be held at Haltemprice Crematorium on Friday 11th October at 2.30pm ,and afterwards here at Cottingham Parks from 3.30pm onwards.
