Covid 19 Update 15/3/21 - GOLF COURSE REOPENING

With only 2 weeks to go before we can all get back out on the course, this week's information focuses on a few reminders, some updates and answers a few more common questions.

Your questions answered:

Q, My subscription renewal fell due during lockdown, how and when do I need to pay?
A, If your subscriptions were due, you should have received your renewal notice which will show amount due less any credits. These can be paid from today by phone Monday to Friday between 9.30 and 11.30am. If you have any queries relating to your renewals please email rosie.allison@cottinghamparks.co.uk. All other questions should be directed to myself.

Q, Why have entry fees for competitions increased?
A, Entry fees at Cottingham have remain constant for the last 4 years while cost incurred by the Committee have risen (engraving trophies, maintaining Club V1 etc). These costs are set to rise again over the next couple of years with the introduction of the WHS and general price rises. The Cottingham Committee have therefore taken the decision to increase entry fees as this is their main income generator for covering such costs. Entry fees at Skidby have been £5 for some time now.

A breakdown of the entry fees is available from myself, This breakdown is for guidance and applies singles events and will vary slightly for Betterballs and Am-Am's as the club will take slightly less with more added to the prize fund. It is intended that upon agreement this will apply across both clubs.

Q, Why I am not receiving your newsletters?
A, It would seem that a few members have not been receiving all of the newsletters. Upon investigation, this could be due to one of a few reasons,
Previous emails to your address have bounced, after 3 'bounces' your email is automatically removed from the mailing list by the computer and can not be restored. if this is the case please supply an alternative email address.
You have not given your permission for emails to be sent, or have given instructions not to be sent, or you have blocked emails this address.
You have changed your email address and not notified us of the change.
It has gone to your junk - please check

Q, Can we have mid week medals at Skidby?

A, We hope to be working with the Skidby Committee on revising / reviewing the Skidby fixture list and i am sure this can be accommodated.
