Will's PGA Journey - January 2019
Now the Christmas period is over and the new year has begun, I can start to plan my 2019 golfing season.
I’ve completed my golf coaching assignment and have now started my next assignment about self-managing. This includes considering areas such as presentation skills, as being a PGA Professional you encounter situations when you need to speak in front of a crowd, so it’s important to develop those skills as well as playing golf!
January is a quiet month for me, which means Mark and I can concentrate on organising a practice schedule so that I’m ready for the start of the season at the end of March and can plan my events as all the PGA fixtures have now been released.
With regards to my PGA, I have a few courses coming up, like my level 2 coaching course and residential at the Belfry; so plenty of things to look forward to in the upcoming months...
